I don’t think it’s any secret that the deadlift is my favorite lift. I lift the heaviest with it, and it takes an all-out effort to get that weight up.
The great thing about deadlift is that there are several ways to modify the move. Sometimes I’ll to 3 different versions in a lifting session! If I had thought and planned ahead, I would’ve taken pictures of some of the variations, but you can always look them up! Some of the ones I like to do are:
Stiff legged (I think this is also sometimes called Romanian Deadlift, but they may be different moves)
1legged deadlift ( use a dumbbell or kettlebell)
These can be done with barbells, dumbbells, or kettlebells, it just depends on your preference and what you have available!! If you haven’t tried them, or if it’s been a while, give them a try!
