Last week I took some time off because I was busy with some things, and frankly, I needed a bit of a mental break. I know it’s not like I post a ton of stuff on here, I just needed that little break to focus on other things. Like my friend’s wedding!
My best friend got married this weekend and I got to be one of her bridesmaids! I hadn’t seen her in a long time so I was super excited to see her and be a part of her special day!
Since the whole weekend was go-go-go (and I didn’t get enough sleep) I decided it was okay to skip working out. I was optimistic that I would feel up to doing at least some stuff in the hotel room like push ups and squats so I packed some clothes, but that didn’t happen hahaha! But now we’re home and it’s back to the grind!
Lately I’ve been feeling like I need something to work for. When I was mostly running it was easy to find a race to train for. When I was doing the Cross Fit stuff, it was easy to look at competitions and say “Yes, I want to train for that!” But I haven’t had anything like that lately. I’ve been really consistent with my training so I feel like I could easily step into training for something. I have a couple ideas, but they’re just ideas for now so I don’t want to say too much. I’m excited about these prospects though and if things looks like they’re going to pan out, I’ll be sure to share!
