Between hip pain and just not committing, it has literally been a few months since I’ve done a lower body work out. Times have changed and it’s time for me to get back to it!
Last night I did a pretty basic work out. I didn’t do a ton of reps simply because it’s been so long and I don’t want to completely kill my legs. So, here’s what I did:
I just used dumbbells because that’s what I have to work with. One of these days I’ll be able to use a bar!
I’m not sure the proper name for the last thing I did and I tried drawing it, but it didn’t happen. It’s the thing where you rest your head on a bench or whatever and get in a bridge position. I used a dumbbell resting kind of on my hips but I’ve seen people use kettle-bells, barbells, or a Smith machine. Anyway, you basically raise your hips up and down. It looks…suggestive ha! but it really works those glutes!!
