Workout Wednesday- Back to running…. Sort of

It’s been kind of a boring couple months, not being able to run as much as I would like. I still have my hip issues going on, but I’m finally feeling up enough with being sidelined that I’ll take the chance of pain to go out for a run! 

I’ve only been on a couple runs. The first one was maybe only 1/2 a mile. The other day I ran a mile in the morning, one in the evening with my husband around a track. Well… I say with him…. We started at the same time but he quickly got ahead of me. But I did it! 

This morning I went for a longer run but I did it with walking intervals. I really didn’t want to go. I’m sorry and tired and I just wanted to stay in bed. I stopped running and just walked the last 1/4 mile. But I did it. My hips we’re okay, and I got a decent run in.

Sometimes you gotta celebrate those small victories!
