Workout Wednesday

I’ve been trying to take some videos of me working out the past few days, but they’re not coming out so great. I’m not great with getting the right angles to give you a good idea of what I’m doing. But I’m trying!

I tried taking some videos today because I did things a little differently for my workout today. I did upper body today. I was feeling kind of sore and worn down from the last upper body day, so I decided to do a couple body weight moves and use lighter weight. today’s workout was:

15-12-9-6-3 of:
Push-ups
Dumbbell curls
Dips
Dumbbell press
Triceps push backs

The last set when I only did 3, I actually did heavier weight and did as many as I could. Some things, like the press, I could only push out 3. Others, I did maybe 6 or 10, just depending on the move.

After I did those sets, I did a couple sets alternating between lat pull downs and hammer curls.

Even though I didn’t lift as heavy today, I still feel pretty good. I don’t want to hurt myself, so I was fine doing lower weight. It’s not worth possibly injuring myself just so I can say I lifted more weight. This was definitely one of those days I needed to listen to my body. While I was down there, I met this nice old Russian lady! She seemed impressed by my strength. She just happened to be watching me while I was doing my last set though, so she saw me lifting the heavy weight. But hey, if she wants to compliment me, I’ll take it!
