Monday Motivation

This is a special week because both my birthday and anniversary are this week! Yep, I’m hitting The Big 3-0. This has caused me to reflect on a few things.

I’ve been thinking a lot about getting older and what that means. I also think a lot about where I was a few years ago, in life, with my family, with health, all that. There have been a few bumps along the way, but I gotta say, I’ve had it pretty good!

I have some truly amazing people in my life. Y’all have made these 30 years pretty awesome. It’s been an adventure, and I look forward to seeing what’s next!

I think we all have those days where we wake up and think, “Yep, I’m definitely getting older!”  Sometimes it’s just easier to feel that way and tell yourself, “Well, there’s nothing I can do about getting older, why bother trying?”

Don’t let your age define you! Don’t let getting older become an excuse to not eat healthy, not workout, all that. Life is an adventure at any age, but if you let your health not be a priority, you’re not going to enjoy it! Take care of yourself now, whatever age you are. It’s never too late to make healthy changes.
